A New Light on Nail Fungus: Lasers Match Drug Efficacy
A randomised trial has shown that a specific type of laser therapy is just as effective as a standard oral antifungal drug for treating onychomycosis, a common fungal nail infection. The study found no significant difference in cure rates between the drug, the laser, or a combination of both treatments.
