About The Synaptic Report

The Synaptic Report was born from a simple idea: to make scientific knowledge accessible to everyone. We built an automated pipeline that discovers newly published research from sources like Europe PMC, uses AI to write accessible summaries, and curates them into a daily newspaper.

This project was developed for the Google Cloud Run Hackathon on Devpost. It leverages a multi-model, serverless architecture on Google Cloud, integrating services like Vertex AI, Gemini, and Cloud Run to create an end-to-end content generation and delivery system.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between complex research and public curiosity, providing a reliable and engaging source of scientific news.
