AI Facial Analysis Predicts Cancer Survival Outcomes
Scientists have utilised a deep learning system named FaceAge to estimate the biological age of over 24,000 cancer patients based on facial photographs. The study reveals that patients appearing significantly older than their chronological age face higher mortality risks, whilst those appearing younger tend to survive longer.
