Nano-Lighthouse Makes 'Dark' Quantum Particles Shine and Signal
Normally invisible to our instruments, 'dark excitons' hold immense promise for quantum technologies but are difficult to activate. Researchers have now developed a paired nanoantenna system that not only makes these elusive particles emit light at room temperature but also precisely routes their signals, paving the way for advanced on-chip quantum circuits.
