Scientists Test if Nature Enhances Exercise's Effect on Depression
Researchers in Hong Kong are investigating if combining outdoor 'green exercise' with indoor workouts can better alleviate depressive symptoms in older adults. This new 16-week trial will compare a blended exercise programme against an indoor-only version to see if a greater connection to nature is the key mechanism for improving mental health.
