AI Hunter Outperforms Rivals in Search for Novel Antibiotics
Scientists have developed a high-precision machine learning approach to identify potential antibiotics, tackling the notorious issue of data imbalance where inactive compounds drown out active ones. By utilising selective similarity-based methods, their Graph Convolutional Network model achieved superior predictive performance compared to previous studies.
