New Nanoparticle Recipe Creates More Durable, High-Capacity Supercapacitors
Researchers have developed a scalable, surfactant-free method to synthesise metal oxide nanoparticles for advanced energy storage. The resulting materials, particularly a nickel-manganese hybrid, create supercapacitors with high energy density and remarkable stability, retaining over 90% of their capacity after 5,000 charge-discharge cycles.
